San Jose State plays its home games at, Spartan Stadium

  Spartan Stadium is home to the San Jose State football team and the men¹s and women's soccer teams. The football team has played its home games in the stadium since 1933. The Spartans won the first football game played in the stadium, 44-6, over San Francisco State on October 7. Since then, the Spartans have played 299 games over 62 seasons in this grass-field facility. The team¹s 100th win in Spartan Stadium came on October 21, 1968, as San Jose State defeated New Mexico, 52-14. Spartan Stadium currently seats 30,578 for football and soccer. The grass field facility was recently widened to accommodate collegiate and international soccer in addition to the San Jose Clash of Major League Soccer.
